City Accepting Bids to Lease Agricultural Property

The City of Santa Rosa is inviting bids for the lease of approximately 230 acres of agricultural property at Twin Vista Ranch, situated at 7700-7750 Lakeville Highway, Petaluma (enter APNs 068-130-001 and 068-130-008 on the City's Real Estate Asset Map). This property is specifically designated for dryland biosolids farming. The auction is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on August 7, 2024.

The available lot spans about 230 acres, excluding the barns surrounding 13.1 acres east of the property. Bidders should note that the land is intended for dryland farming only, and there are no irrigation facilities. To qualify, bidders must have at least five years of biosolids farming experience and incorporate biosolids on the premises within 72 hours of application, following City notice.
