Strengthening cooperation in creative industries with South Korea

The National Platform "Serbia Creates" of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency (BIPA) in South Korea have signed a Memorandum of Strategic Cooperation in the field of creative industries.

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to South Korea Nemanja Grbić, on behalf of the "Serbia Creates" platform and the creative-innovation centre Ložionica, signed the cooperation agreement with the General Director of the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency (BIPA).

"There are enormous opportunities for cooperation, knowledge and idea exchange, networking of our creatives, as well as market development between our countries," according to Ana Ilić, Director of Ložionica and the "Serbia Creates" platform.

South Korea is one of the world leaders in the strategic approach to the development of creative industries, and there is great interest from their producers in filming in Serbia.

Busan is the center of creative industries for all of South Korea, known for its gaming industry, in which Serbia is a European leader. Therefore, the cooperation between the "Serbia Creates" platform and Ložionica with such an important partner is of great significance for Serbia.
