Natural gas main repair work to continue on Oak Plains Road

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Clarksville Gas & Water has closed approximately 100 feet of the westbound lane on Oak Plains Road at the intersection of Old Clarksville Pike for natural gas main repair.

The natural gas main repair and lane closure will continue on Friday August 9 from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Alternating traffic lanes have been established to avoid the work zone. Motorists are asked to slow down and follow the directions of flaggers when traveling through the work zone or choose an alternate travel route when possible.

The natural gas main repair is anticipated to be finished and the lane reopened by approximately 2:30 p.m. daily
