Newsweek ranks Erie Insurance one of ‘America’s Best of the Best’ for 2024

ERIE, Pa., Nov. 1, 2024 - Erie Insurance (ERIE) has been named to Newsweek's "America's Best of the Best" list for 2024 and ranked no. 1 in auto insurance. Company rankings were presented by Newsweek and Statista, a leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider.

Erie Insurance earned the top spot in auto insurance with a 91.87 score. The ratings were based on survey measures such as value, reliability, overall user experience, customer service and trust.

"Erie Insurance is honored to be recognized on Newsweek's America's Best of the Best 2024 rankings," said Sarah Shine, senior vice president, Experience & Customer Service at ERIE. "Since 1925, ERIE has been fulfilling its promise of providing auto, home, business and life insurance rooted in the principles of honesty, decency, service and affordability."

America's Best of the Best 2024 rankings were informed by an independent survey of more than 24,000 U.S. customers who have either made purchases, used services or gathered information about companies in the past three years.

According to Newsweek, "customers are keen to understand the entire journey they will embark on when selecting a product or service. This journey encompasses various aspects: the brand's image and trustworthiness, the overall joy of use of the product or service and the level of customer service provided. Each of these segments plays a crucial role in the decision-making process."

Shine agrees, and says that Erie Insurance, at its core, is a service organization.

"ERIE's unique culture of care and service - introduced nearly 100 years ago - remains the cornerstone of our company to this day," she added.

America's Best of the Best is not the only recognition Erie Insurance earned from Newsweek in 2024. The company also appears on Newsweek's lists of America's Greatest Workplaces, America's Greatest Workplaces for Diversity 2024, America's Greatest Workplaces for Women 2024 and America's Greatest Workplaces for Parents and Families 2024.
