ITC to use low-flying helicopters for power line project

In an effort to minimize construction impact on the public, ITC will be utilizing low-flying helicopters to complete this work. The use of helicopters for aerial installation and maintenance is a normal procedure for ITC. There is no cause for alarm if a low-flying helicopter is sighted near transmission lines. Weather permitting, this project is anticipated to be completed by early October.
