On Tuesday, 12 November 2024, the social counselling service of the Studentenwerk will provide information on the subject of immigration law for studying and working.
From 2:00 p.m. in the event room of the International Office, Dorotheenstr. 5, 30419 Hannover.
Hannover's universities are international: 16 per cent of Hannover's students come from abroad. Most of them have to work part-time or full-time to cover their living expenses. However, this involves many questions that arise from their status as foreign students 'with a temporary residence permit'.
At the event, foreign students will receive information on the topics of housing benefit, visa procedures, the justification and extension of residence rights, naturalisation and labour law regulations.
The staff of the Studentenwerk's social counselling service, the Hanover Foreigners' Registration Office and the Church Development Service will address individual questions from the participants.
