Get To It, Fam: The Fifth And Final Season of 'Sintonia' Drops February 5 on Netflix

São Paulo, December 17, 2024 - No cap - you can start getting ready for one final round with Nando (Christian Malheiros), Rita (Bruna Mascarenhas) and Doni (Jottapê)! Netflix announced today that the fifth season of Sintonia drops February 5. The final episodes of the show set in São Paulo's favelas will wrap up the friends' story and cement the trio's legacy.

The newest season takes place four years after we last left Nando, Rita and Doni, as they're facing potentially life-changing challenges. While Nando hatches a risky plan, Rita achieves her dream of becoming an attorney but faces a professional dilemma. Doni is dealing with the consequences of the past while making a crucial decision that affects the VA Records label. With new tracks and emotions cranked up to a 10, the trio's friendship will be put to the test one last time.

Sintonia is Netflix's biggest Brazilian series and, in 2023, it reached first place in the Global Top 10 for non-English-language shows. With the most seasons for a Brazilian show, the new episodes will solidify the show's legacy in the Brazilian entertainment industry.

Produced by Gullane, Sintonia is based on an original idea by KondZilla and was created along with Felipe Braga and Guilherme Quintella. The fifth season episodes are directed by Johnny Araújo, Daniela Carvalho and Denis Cisma, with executive producers Caio Gullane and Fabiano Gullane.
