Bridge Inspection Next Week on the Barry King Bridge in Northumberland and Union Counties

Montoursville, PA - Motorists are advised a bridge inspection project will take place next week on the Barry King Bridge (Route 11) between Northumberland and Union counties.

On Monday, September 30, 2024, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will be inspecting the bridge by crane between the hours of 8:00 AM and 2:00, weather permitting.

Both north and southbound motorists can expect single lane conditions when work is being performed. Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, watch for lane changes, and drive with caution through the work zone.
