Olympia Family Theater Presents The House At Pooh Corner

Olympia Family Theater announces their next MainStage adventure, The House At Pooh Corner, running September 27-October 13, 2024 at Olympia Family Theater in downtown Olympia. Tickets are available now at www.OlyFT.org.

Join Christopher Robin and his friends - Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore, and more - in this heartwarming adventure through the hundred-acre-wood. Faced with the looming possibility of being sent away to school, Christopher Robin contemplates running away to the North or South Pole with his friends. As they embark on this whimsical journey, they grapple with the fear of the unknown and the strength of their friendship. Will Chrisopher Robin decide to leave, or will he find a way to stay with the friends that mean so much to him?
Based on the beloved works by A.A. Milne, adapted by Bettye Knapp, this joyous play is perfect for all ages.

"The inhabitants of the Hundred Acre Wood have always held a special place in my heart," said the play Director, and lifelong Winnie-the-Pooh superfan, Alayna Chamberland. "These stories are for everyone and it has been a great honor to help bring them to the OFT stage."
Alayna is also on OFT's staff as the company's Production Manager. "This show deals with several tricky situations for our cast of characters," she added. "These are situations that we have all dealt with at some point in our lives and watching the inhabitants of the Hundred Acre Wood go through it themselves is not only entertaining, but also healing."

Through Olympia Family Theater's Access-for-ALL Program, tickets to all MainStage Productions are available online on a sliding scale starting at free, with a recommended price of $25. More information and ticket reservations available at www.OlyFT.org.
