Route 380 Penn Avenue Utility Work Starts Monday in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh, PA - PennDOT District 11 is announcing lane restrictions on Penn Avenue (Route 380) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County will begin today, Monday, August 12 weather permitting.

Emergency ductbank work will begin at 8 a.m. Monday on Penn Avenue between East Liberty Boulevard and Shady Avenue. To allow the work to occur, the westbound lanes of Penn Avenue will close to traffic. A single-lane lane of bi-directional traffic will be maintained in the eastbound lanes. The restriction will be place around-the-clock through early October.

Crews from the Joseph B. Fay Company will conduct the work for Duquesne Light.
