China, U.S. hold 18th defense policy coordination talks in Beijing

Officials from the Chinese Defense Ministry and the U.S. Department of Defense held the 18th working meeting in Beijing on September 14 and 15, exchanging in-depth views on China-U.S. military relations, interactions in the next stage and issues of common concern, according to the Chinese Defense Ministry on Sunday.

The meeting was co-chaired by the deputy chief of the Office for International Military Cooperation of China's Central Military Commission and deputy assistant secretary of defense of the U.S. Department of Defense.
