Participation of Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs Tripodi at the Grand Prix of Made in Italy and Emilia Romagna in Imola

As delegated by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. Antonio Tajani, the Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs, Maria Tripodi, will take part in the Grand Prix of Made in Italy and Emilia Romagna in Imola on Sunday 19 May. The Grand Prix is part of an integrated promotional action resulting from a collaboration between the Foreign Ministry, ICE- Agency, the Italian Automobile Club (ACI) and the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Imola.

Undersecretary Tropody said: "mola and the territory of Emilia are the cradle of Italian excellence in the automotive industry, as well as in numerous other sectors, which make Italy famous all over the world." The Undersecretary will be visiting the ICE pavilion, emphasising that the project is the result of effective teamwork by the various components of the Italian System, with the aim of enhancing the profile, visibility and image of "Italy" brand, thus favouring the production sectors through an increase in Italian exports.

Thanks to Deputy Prime Minister Tajani, the Foreign Ministry has strengthened its sports diplomacy action as a further tool for the strategic promotion of Italy. The aim is to promote Italian products, particularly in the sectors related to sport, investment attraction and incoming tourism, leveraging the visibility of major international events.
