At Wednesday's City Council meeting, the first public hearing was held on the Cape Coral Grove mixed-use development, which is expected to have a $1.3 billion economic impact.
This project is planned for a 131-acre lot on Pine Island Road between Chiquita Boulevard and Burnt Store Road. The current project plan features a variety of retail spaces, entertainment venues, a hotel, and luxury apartments and townhomes. The second and final public hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, August 7.
