Nature Photography Workshop Held at Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery

all discussed as components that can take a photograph to the next level. Specific tips for macrophotography, bird photography, and capturing a moving target were also explored.

Bob additionally highlighted ethics involved with wildlife photography, emphasizing the importance of a "leave no trace" mindset. Remaining at a proper distance, refraining from touching/moving animals, and being careful not to disturb habitat were all suggested to keep impact at a minimum. Following the presentation and questions, participants were invited to apply their new skills on some more-than-eager familiar faces at the hatchery. Quadro, the black rate snake, Franklin & Shelley the box turtles, and Oddball the spotted turtle all proved worthy models for the photographers! Placed in the grass, the animals were allowed to explore their environment while the photographers practiced getting the perfect shots! The hatchery would like to thank Bob for leading the workshop and providing a fun, informative morning at the hatchery!
