LA Kings Ice at Mammoth Lakes is open for the holidays!

LA Kings Ice at Mammoth Lakes operating within the new Lakes Community Recreation Center (CRC) is open for the holidays!

LA Kings Ice at Mammoth Lakes is scheduled to operate through April 20, 2025 and from 12:00 - 10:00pm during the holidays (12/21/2024 - 1/5/2025). Days and hours of operation are updated weekly online.

The facility offers public skate sessions, skating lessons, adult and youth hockey programs, curling and is home to the Mammoth Stars and the Bishop Broncos High School Team. Amenities include skate sharpening, skate rentals, skate aids, and snack and beverage services.

LA Kings Ice at Mammoth Lakes is a drug, tobacco, and alcohol-free facility. Children five and under must skate with an adult and children ten and under must be supervised by an adult at all times.

The facility is owned and operated by the Town of Mammoth Lakes in partnership with the LA Kings Hockey Club, the NHL winning franchise. American Sports Entertainment Company, LLC (ASEC) is contracted by the Town to deliver year-round technical and operational consulting services for the facility.

The CRC is the major recreation amenity at Mammoth Creek Park that includes a natural play area, a National Demonstration Site inclusive playground, the new minor-mobility hub with parking for up to 118 vehicles, a bus shelter and electric vehicle charging stations (Tesla + Type 2) with convenient access to the Mammoth Lakes Trail System and bus routes.
