Multiple Arrests in South Lake Union, Four Firearms and Stolen Vehicle Recovered

Seattle Police arrested multiple suspects and recovered four firearms and a stolen vehicle in South Lake Union las Sunday.

On July 28th at 10:58 p.m., patrol officers responded to reports of multiple people trespassing inside of a hotel in the 100 block of Boren Avenue North. They were associated with various other incidents including eluding a police vehicle in a stolen pickup truck.

When police arrived, various subjects fled at the sight of them. Officers located a suspect, 34, from a previous investigation and attempted to place him into custody.

He tried to flee from Officers but was apprehended immediately. This suspect is a convicted felon and was armed with a handgun, He was arrested for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Obstructing a Public Officer, and Possession of Methamphetamine.

Another suspect, and 49-year-old convicted felon, was also armed with a gun and arrested for Driving While License Suspended 1st Degree, Operating a Vehicle Without an Ignition Interlock Device, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.

One of the suspects, 29, is a validated Deuce-8's gang member. He was arrested for a $20,000 domestic violence Assault warrant, Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle, and a misdemeanor warrant for marijuana Theft.

Another suspect, a 25-year-old woman, is a validated 30-Gang gang member. She was arrested for Obstructing a Public Officer when trying to conceal the stolen vehicle keys.

All suspects were booked into King County Jail. Two additional firearms were recovered from the scene. The stolen vehicle was recovered, and narcotics were seized as evidence.

Detectives with the felony General Investigations Unit have been assigned to this case. Additional charges may be applied as they complete their investigation.
