Intern Spotlight: Asa Bratlien

We are excited to highlight another one of our talented 2024 Engineering Interns from Chippewa Falls, Asa Bratlien, who is making remarkable strides this summer at TTM Technologies.

1. What University do you attend? What is your major?

I just graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Stout, in May with a BS in Computer and Electrical Engineering.

2. Why did you choose TTM Technologies for your internship?

I chose TTM as they are on the leading edge of the high-tech industry. I want to learn from the best!

3. What are you enjoying most about your internship journey at TTM Technologies so far?

The thing I enjoy the most is being able to contribute to meaningful and challenging projects. I am not just an afterthought; I am able to actively contribute to the things that affect the facility.

4. What is your favorite project you are working on this summer?

I am most excited about installing and programming a thermal camera and a high-precision power supply to pinpoint internal shorts.

5. Would you recommend the TTM Technologies internship program to fellow classmates? Why?

I would highly recommend this internship to a classmate. This is the second company I have interned at, and TTM teaches you far more. The responsibilities you are given are scaled with the effort you put in. If you are highly driven, you can achieve a lot in a short amount of time.

6. What is something unique about yourself?

I've been married for three years and have two kids. I enjoy playing pickleball and disc golf.
