Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the United Mexican States presented his Credential Letters to the President of the United Mexican States

On 19 June 2024 at 11.30 hrs., H.E. Mr. Rooge Thammongkolj, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the United Mexican States, presented his Credential Letters to H.E. Mr. Andrés Manuel López Obrador, President of the United Mexican States at the National Palace. Also present at the ceremony was H.E. Ms. Alicia Barcena Ibarra, Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the United Mexican States.

After presenting the Credentials, both sides had a brief conversation in which the Mexican President congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment as Ambassador of Thailand to Mexico. On this occasion, the Ambassador reaffirmed his determination to promote closer relations between the two countries in all areas, and expressed his readiness to work closely with the Mexican side to organize activities to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Thailand-Mexican diplomatic relations in 2025

After the ceremony, the Ambassador attended a reception at the Royal Thai Embassy held to congratulate the Ambassador. The reception was attended by the Ambassador's spouse as well as Embassy's officials and local staff.
