UT Welcomes Fans to Morgan Wallen Concerts at Neyland Stadium

The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, welcomes concertgoers to campus Friday, Sept. 20, and Sunday, Sept. 22, for two performances featuring Morgan Wallen.

Both shows will start at 6:30 p.m. EDT inside Neyland Stadium. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. Each show is expected to bring up to 80,000 people to campus.

Classes will be held on Friday, and concertgoers are asked not to come to campus before 2 p.m.

Parking and shuttles

Campus lots will open to concertgoers with parking passes at 2 p.m., and T buses will transition to special event service at that time. More information on concert-day parking and bus schedules is available on the parking website.

Digital tickets and gate information

Concertgoers with tickets in the general bowl will access their digital tickets through the Ticketmaster app. Those with premium tickets will access their digital tickets through the Tennessee Athletics app, which is available for download from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Concertgoers are encouraged to download their tickets to their Apple Wallet or Google Pay before arriving on campus. Those who need assistance with their digital tickets can visit the Gate 21 ticket booth on the day of the concert.

Those with field-level tickets will enter at Gate 7, and those with pit tickets will enter at Gate 25. Those with general bowl tickets can enter at any nonpremium gate. Those with premium tickets should enter at the gate listed.

RockyTopWiFi will be available in and around Neyland Stadium.

Concertgoer experiences and support

A Volunteer Club tailgate will begin at 3 p.m. on Humanities Plaza. To purchase tickets visit, https://thevolunteerclub.com/collections/morgan-wallen-tailgate-tickets.

On Friday, concert ticket holders can get free entry into the Tennessee volleyball game vs. Western Michigan at Thompson-Boling Arena at Food City Center. The game starts at 2 p.m.

First-aid stations serviced by UT Medical Center will be available throughout Neyland Stadium, which are equipped with innovative technology such as portable diagnostic services and advanced life support equipment.

Those looking to purchase Morgan Wallen merchandise before the show can stop by merchandise locations outside Neyland Stadium at Gate 21 on the northwest corner, outside Ramp 10 on the southwest corner and outside Gate 4 on the southeast corner. Each location will open at 2 p.m. Merchandise will also be available throughout Neyland Stadium during both shows.

Concert Safety Measures

  • Attendees can bring into the stadium one unopened factory-sealed clear water bottle and one empty clear water bottle per person.
  • Attendees are allowed to bring to the stadium one clear plastic bag no larger than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches or a one-gallon clear resealable plastic storage bag. They also will be allowed a small clutch purse not to exceed 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches. No other bags will be allowed inside the stadium.
  • Attendees can report suspicious activity by texting 865-974-9898 with their seat location (concourse, section, row, seat number) and issue.
  • Smoking is prohibited at UT, including within private vehicles parked or operated on university property. The prohibition extends to any lighted tobacco, electronic cigarettes, and other vape devices.
  • Anyone attempting to enter the stadium with alcohol will be denied entry.

Prohibited items

  • Artificial noisemakers
  • Open umbrellas
  • Outside food, snacks and beverages (unless medically necessary)
  • Radios without headphones
  • Video cameras, professional cameras and cameras with detachable lenses
  • Unmanned aircraft systems
  • Stadium seats with arms or side pockets
  • Selfie sticks
  • Weapons of any kind, including pocket knives

No items can be stored or left at the gates. Fans can bring the following items inside the stadium, subject to search at the gates:

  • Cushions or seats without arms or side pockets
  • Small cameras, binoculars and mobile phones
  • Small bags with medically necessary items (Note: Diapers and non-medically necessary items for babies and young children must be carried in a clear bag.)
