What?

The Central Square Farmers Market is a pop-up event that's held every Monday in the warm-weather months. Check out more than two dozen local artisans, farmers, and food producers selling an assortment of produce, baked goods, prepared meals, and other products.

When?

Every Monday from noon to 6 pm, through November 25.

Where?

Cambridge's Central Square. The market stretches along the entire block of Norfolk Street, from Massachusetts Avenue to Bishop Allen Drive.

How much?

Entry is free. Individual vendors accept cash, credit or debit cards, WIC/senior coupons, EBT cards, and SNAP.

Why should I go?

Complete your weekly grocery shopping and explore a fun Cambridge neighborhood while supporting local businesses at this pop-up farmers market. Located in the heart of Central Square, the market offers fresh and unique items you won't find in your usual Stop & Shop haul.

For produce, stop by the Flats Mentor Farm or Dick's Market Garden. If you're looking for mushrooms or medicinal extracts, Livingstone Mycology has what you need. For a boost of color and flavor, try Round Table Farm, which will be selling its "cheese that defies labels," along with fresh flowers. For those who want some classic New England seafood, stop by C & C Lobsters and Fish, a local family-run institution.

Hi-Rise Bread Company and Mahalab Bakery both have the baked goods department covered, with everything from basic loaves to spinach and feta fatayer, a savory pie from the Levant region. Speciality stands include Cini Coffee, SamosaMan Exotic Food, and Sherman & Cherie's Beezy Bees, which sells honey and bee products.

The Central Square Farmers Market is committed to investing in local BIPOC (Black, indigenous, and people of color) vendors, like Cocobelly Bites, Giant Gorilla Greens, Rooted Juice Bar & Cafe, and more.

Vendors change depending on the week; if you don't see your favorite this week, come back sometime soon-the market runs through late November.
