Weekly Traffic Impact Report Week of July 17, 2024

La Loma Phase 3A

Project Status

Expected to be completed by the end of July 2024.

Traffic Impacts

Detours will be in place at:

  • Colfax Avenue between Glendale Avenue and Yosemite Boulevard
  • Trask Lane between Glendale Avenue and Yosemite Boulevard

Minor disruptions, crews will be working:

  • From Encina Avenue to Yosemite Boulevard and Colfax Avenue to Trask Lane.

Night work with lane closures Wednesday July 17th, Sunday July 21st, Monday July 22nd

  • Yosemite Boulevard between Riverside Drive and El Vista Street

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

La Loma Phase 2C

Project Status

Project is expected to be completed by September 2024.

Traffic Impacts

Traffic control will be in place:

  • Encina Avenue from Santa Barbara Avenue to San Juan Avenue
  • Roble Avenue from Rowland Avenue to Rosina Avenue
  • Haddon Avenue from Rowland Avenue to North Cornejo Avenue
  • Miller Avenue from Covena Avenue to San Juan Avenue
  • Crews will be working in the alleys from Encina Avenue (North Limit) to Miller Avenue (South Limit) from Rowland Avenue (West Limit) to San Juan Avenue (East Limit)

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

River Trunk Realignment Gravity System & Shackelford Pump Station Project

Project Status

Work is in progress.

Traffic Impacts

Following areas impacted but not closed:

  • Tuolumne Boulevard from Paradise Avenue to Rosedale Avenue on the eastbound lanes will be reduced to one lane
  • Garden Avenue - between Sutter Avenue & Colorado Avenue
  • Colorado Avenue - between Garden Avenue & Avalon Avenue
  • Roselawn Avenue - Between Pelton Avenue & Colorado Avenue
  • Colorado Avenue - from Garden Avenue to Snead Drive
  • Colorado Avenue from Garden Avenue to Faustina Avenue
  • Colorado Avenue from Garden Avenue to Figaro Avenue
  • Colorado Avenue from Figaro Avenue to Lema Avenue
  • Colorado Avenue from Lema Avenue to Rouse Avenue
  • East and west bound lanes of Tuolumne Boulevard from Sutter Avenue to Roselawn Avenue

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

Paradise Road Area Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Improvements

Project Status

Expected to be completed by March 2025.

Traffic Impacts

Traffic control will be in place:

  • Intersection at 1st Street & Washington Street will be closed.
  • Paradise Road: Sheridan Street to 1st Street
  • South Jefferson Street: Paradise Road to Vine Street
  • 1st Street: Vine Street to Sierra Drive
  • G Street: Sierra Drive to 2nd Street

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

Claus Road and Scenic Drive Signal Coordination

Project Status

Expected to be completed by the end of July 2024.

Traffic Impacts

Traffic control in place shifting traffic to one lane each way, with flaggers when needed, arrow boards and signs:

  • Claus Road between Briggsmore Avenue and Scenic Drive
  • Scenic Drive from Bodem Drive to Claus Road

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

J.M. Pike Park Storm Water to Sanitary Sewer Cross Connection and Water Main

Project Status

Expected to be completed by January 2025.

Traffic Impacts

Minor disruptions, crew will be working:

  • Lane shift on Tully Road 7/24 through 7/26
  • Lane shift on Princeton Avenue and Carver Road 7/22 through 7/26

Major disruptions, crew will be working:

  • Fordham Avenue detour 7/22 through 7/25

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

City Crews

Project Status

Expected to be completed by the end of July 2024.

Traffic Impacts

Crews will be working from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday:

  • Road closure on 1701 West Rumble Road and Carver Road

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

State Route 99 Pelandale Interchange Reconstruction Phase 2

Project Status

Expected to be completed by October 2024.

Traffic Impacts

Traffic control will consist of full lane closures, lane shifts, and flaggers on site.

  • Intersection of Pelandale Avenue and Sisk Road
