The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) issued the following statement on Representative David Valadao's decisive victory in tonight's 22^nd Congressional district debate against self-serving Sacramento politician Rudy Salas:

"Farmer David Valadao showed why he's the independent leader the Valley counts on. Representative Valadao breaks through partisan gridlock to bring home bipartisan wins like lowering energy, grocery and gas prices and delivering more water for agriculture.

"Voters saw once again Rudy Salas only looks out for himself and will sell out the Valley to his Sacramento cronies and party bosses.
