Luna Needs A Loving Home

As an initiative to help promote the Sumter County Shelter, Animal Services asked for some little artists to help them promote the animals currently looking for a home at the shelter. The kids were encouraged to pick an animal and write on their behalf to explain to potential adopters why they should be adopted. The kids were so excited that their words and pictures might actually make a difference for an animal in need. The artwork is now displayed on the kennels at Sumter County Animal Services. The beautiful artwork and encouraging words made the staff smile, and they are sure that adopters will also be encouraged by the messages and pictures displayed on campus. Each day, a new pet will be featured on our website, and we hope you enjoy the art as much as we have.
