Senior citizens receive Chongyang Festival greetings

More than 630 senior citizens aged 75 or older in Qingfeng Village of Shuangfeng Town, Taicang City, received Chongyang Festival gifts and greetings on Oct. 9.

The Chongyang Festival, also named the Double Ninth Festival, is celebrated on the ninth day of the ninth month of the Chinese lunar calendar to pay respect to seniors, which falls on Oct. 11 this year.
