Jackson Recreation Millage approved by voters

The Jackson Recreation Millage, which provides free and reduced cost programs for kids and seniors, was approved by voters in the Tuesday, Aug. 6 Election. A millage will be in place for the next 10 years to support recreation programs and pay staff.

This millage is the result of an ongoing collaboration between the City of Jackson and Jackson Public Schools. Everyone in the City and JPS district can benefit from this millage. We've had it since 1960, and the millage will continue until it's up for another vote in 2034.
