Prison inmate Jeremy Cory dies

IOWA CITY, Iowa - Jeremy Michael Cory was pronounced dead at 8:51 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 18, 2024 at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics. Cory was 55 years old at the time of his death.

Cory had been serving a life sentence out of a conviction in Story County. His sentence began on Aug. 29, 2014.
