Updated Hours for Volusia County's Vegetative Debris Disposal Drop-off Sites

Volusia County's four vegetative debris disposable drop-off sites will be operational from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning Thursday, Nov. 14. The sites will remain open seven days a week until further notice. All four sites will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 28, for the Thanksgiving holiday. The four vegetative drop-off sites are located at:

  • 1360 Veterans Memorial Parkway, Orange City
  • 1990 Air Park Road, Edgewater
  • Tomoka Landfill, 1990 Tomoka Farms Road, Port Orange
  • Old Plymouth Landfill, 1991 W Plymouth Ave., DeLand
Residents who plan to utilize one of the vegetative debris drop-off sites must provide identification exhibiting proof of Volusia County residency. The sites are available to all Volusia County residents. Contractors are legally required to dispose of vegetative debris properly and must take all debris to the Tomoka Landfill in Port Orange at 1990 Tomoka Farms Road or the West Volusia Transfer Station in DeLand at 3151 E. New York Ave.
