Lincoln Woods Barracks

At 7:31 PM, Troopers arrested Howard Thomas, age 33, of 2 ½ Pond Street Newport, Rhod Island for 1.) Possession of a Schedule I-V (Crack Cocaine) over 10 Grams under 1 Ounce 2.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs- B.A.C. Unknown- 1st Offense 3.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test- 1st Offense, and 4.) Leaving the Scene of an Accident- Damage to Attended Vehicle. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle accident investigation and subsequent motor vehicle stop on Lonsdale Avenue in the City of Pawtucket. Thomas was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult, pending a Sixth Division District Court date.
