2024 Wyandotte Taxing Jurisdictions Revenue Neutral Rate Hearings

Our property taxes fund our streets, community services, libraries, schools, drainage districts, and community college but each of these functions are managed by different jurisdictions. Each taxing jurisdiction in Wyandotte County collects property taxes to support their mission.
By state law, when the governing body anticipates that it will exceed the revenue neutral rate, i.e. it will take in more money than the past year, it must hold a public hearing for the community to weigh in and provide feedback.
The following chart outlines the upcoming hearing dates for each of the taxing jurisdictions that touch Wyandotte County residents. To look up which jurisdictions impact you, please lookup your address here.
