Regent Law Named the #3 Best Value Private Law School in the Nation in preLaw Magazine

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (Oct. 7, 2024) - The National Jurist'spreLaw Magazine Fall 2024 cover story recognized Regent Law as the 3rd best-value private law school in the United States-trailing only Brigham Young University and Wake Forest. It rose nine places from when it debuted in the best-value rankings last year as the 12th best-value private law school in the country. The magazine bases its evaluation on employment outcomes, bar passage rates, and cost.

The cover story noted "Regent Law's high employment rate" and quoted Brad Lingo, dean of Regent University School of Law, explaining Regent's strong employment outcomes: "At Regent Law, we believe finding employment is downstream from finding purpose. So, we work with each student individually to find their unique call to the law."

Regent Law's emphasis on practical skills training, experiential learning, and bar preparation also received praise. So, too, did Regent Law's commitment to "professor accessibility, teaching quality, and a supportive community where students are known and cared for as individuals."
