Habitat Oakland ReStores are home improvement stores and resale centers that sell donated furniture, building materials, appliances, and home accessories to the public at a fraction of the retail price. Habitat for Humanity uses funds raised by its ReStores to help more families build, rehabilitate and repair their homes.
"The opening of this new ReStore marks the latest step in our efforts to provide safe, decent and affordable housing in Oakland County," said Michele Hodges, Executive Director and CEO of Habitat Oakland. "Shoppers can find unique and high-quality items, but inventory changes frequently, so stop by soon and often! We wish to thank our donors, supporters, shoppers and the entire Habitat community for helping to make this grand opening a huge success."
Habitat Oakland ReStores rely on the generous donations of new and gently used furniture, building supplies, and household items to help Habitat create homeownership opportunities. To arrange a pickup of a donation, please call our Donation Call Center at 248-365-4090.
