Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park came alive with an energetic and theatrical performance by iconic Liverpool art rock/new wave band Deaf School on Saturday 16 November.
Led by the charismatic Enrico Cadillac Jnr and Bette Bright, the band's performance was a captivating mix of catchy melodies, quirky lyrics, and flamboyant stage presence which had the audience on their feet from the very start.
Nearly 500 people attended the show in Huyton which saw the band perform hits from their back catalogue, spanning fifty years.
Cllr Shelley Powell, Cabinet Member of Communities and Neighbourhoods said: "This was one of the most incredible performances we have had at the Knowsley Music Festival. The energy of the band and the audience were unmatched.
"This was also a particularly special gig for us as Knowsley and Deaf School share a special anniversary, with both the band and the borough celebrating 50 years in 2024."
Deaf School performed as part of the third annual Knowsley Music Festival.
