Job Opportunity: Department Support Technician

Join the Community Development Teamas a full time Department Support Technician. This position will be a problem-solver when it comes to customer service and have an eye for detail when checking construction plans and submittals for completeness. Candidates will be collecting, tracking and entering data, updating the City website, creating spreadsheets, drafting technical language, preparing meeting minutes, issuing permits and issuing public meeting notices.

A candidate with experience in customer service in a fast-paced office and basic computer skills are essential for this position.

This position works in-person at the Community Development customer service counter, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications: An Associate's Degree in a related field and two years of related experience are required which based upon assignment, may be required in a particular field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed in the job description.

Licensing Requirements: Oregon Driver's License - Class C
