Musicians Announced for 32nd Annual Haunting in the Hills Storytelling Festival

Mark your calendars for the highly anticipated 32nd annual Haunting in the Hills Storytelling Festival, set to unfold on Saturday, September 21, from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM (ET) at Bandy Creek Visitor Center area. Join us for an event of enchanting live performances, captivating stories, and vibrant cultural experiences.

The festival kicks off at 11:00 AM, offering a lineup of live musical performances that highlight the region's vibrant talent. From the heartfelt tones of bluegrass to the rich sounds of traditional Appalachian music, you'll be treated to a variety of genres, including soulful acoustic sets. This all-day celebration invites you on a musical journey that honors both the deep heritage and the evolving diversity of our local music scene.

Throughout the day, the Knoxville Area Dulcimer Club will provide a melodic backdrop with their continuous performances, enriching the atmosphere with their distinctive sound. They'll also offer a free workshop on the visitor center porch at 9:30 AM, giving attendees the chance to engage directly with the music and learn the joy of making music together.

As the day transitions into evening, the excitement builds with the Arnold Stephens Band taking the stage at 6:00 PM, delivering a dynamic and lively performance. At 7:00 PM, you'll be drawn into the powerful and emotive music of acoustic artist Gerald Handwright, creating moments that deepen your connection to the celebration of community and culture.
