Detour on Route 2035 in Bear Creek Township, Luzerne County

Dunmore, PA - There will be a detour on Route 2035 in Bear Creek Township, Luzerne County for bridge demolition and new culvert placement. The detour will begin Today, July 8, 2024, and continue through Fall of 2024.

Detour from Route 2035:

  • Head north on Suscon Road towards Davis Drive
  • Continue onto Bear Creek Road
  • Make a sharp left onto PA- 315 S/Ziegler Street
  • Head southwest on PA-315 S towards Mayfair Drive
  • Turn left onto Westminster Road
  • Continue onto Old Pittston Boulevard
  • Continue onto Bald Mountain Road
  • Turn left onto Suscon Road



When encountering a work zone, please drive the posted speed limit, turn on your headlights, pay close attention to signs and flaggers, and avoid all distractions. In high-traffic locations, motorists are encouraged to use both lanes of travel to the merge point and take turns merging into the open lane.
