MoDOT to shift westbound I-70 lanes at Route 94 exit ramp Mon., Sept. 30

ST. CHARLES COUNTY - Westbound Interstate 70 drivers exiting at the Route 94/First Capitol Drive ramp will notice the westbound exit will be slightly shifted at the Fairgrounds/Convention Center Boulevard bridge starting at 7 p.m., Monday, September 30. Motorists wanting to exit at Route 94/First Capitol Drive must take the exit ramp located closer to the Fairgrounds/Convention Center bridge. All work is weather permitting.

Crews will stripe the westbound lanes for the traffic shift Monday night. By Tuesday, October 1, the westbound exit lane will be shifted to the left.

The on ramp from Fairgrounds/Convention Center Boulevard to westbound I-70 will reopen Tuesday, October 1. Work will continue on the new North Outer Road alongside westbound I-70 between Fairgrounds/Convention Center Boulevard and Route 94 during this construction phase which is expected to be completed fall 2024.
