Board of Supervisors Appoint New Western Pinal Justice of the Peace

At Wednesday's Board of Supervisors Meeting, the Board approved appointing Patricia Glover to fill the Western Pinal Justice of the Peace vacancy.

The seat has been vacant since the resignation of Lyle Riggs in February. Riggs' term was due to expire at the end of the year, and since Ms. Glover ran unopposed in July's Primary Election and therefore her election in November is a formality, the Board chose to appoint her three months early, which is within their authority. She will serve through 2028.
