Eugene Police Activity near Centennial Boulevard, in Springfield

Eugene Police investigations units, supported by EPD SWAT took a suspect into custody at 3:20 p.m. near 6^th and Centennial in Springfield. As a precautionary safety measure, schools in areas affected by the police activity were advised and Centennial Boulevard in Springfield was restricted for a short time. We can provide more information later after they complete their work and follow-up investigation.
