Refuge: Art Inspired by the Maine Coastal Islands
MCI National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center Gallery, Rockland, ME

The Maine Coastal Islands National Wildlife Refuge's mission is conserving the flora and fauna of the islands and coastal regions in Maine. This exhibition can be interpreted by artists widely around the concept of "refuge." Think environment as well as animals, seabirds, plant life, aquatic life, the landscape and working waterfront. Also consider the refuge humans seek when visiting these protected sites.

Maine Coastal Islands Trust will take 35% commission on works sold. Accepted works must be framed and/or wired ready for display.
Artist Jane Dahmen will be the juror.
Deadline: August 1, 2024

Show closes:December 13, 2024
