DWU music faculty to perform recital

DWU faculty members Jason Laczkoski and Erin Desmond will perform a recital on Sunday, Sept. 15, at 4 p.m. in the Sherman Center on the DWU campus.

MITCHELL - Ron and Sheilah Gates Department of Music faculty members Jason Laczkoski on saxophone and Erin Desmond on piano will perform a recital on Sunday, Sept. 15, at 4 p.m. in the Sherman Center on the DWU campus.

The concert, entitled "Dance," will feature music by J.S. Bach and Astor Piazzolla.

The recital is free and open to the public.

Several music events upcoming this semester include the White Spruce Chamber Players on Sept. 29; the DWU Fall Music Concert on Oct. 6; the LyricWood Orchestra Fall Concert on Oct. 20; and Christmas at Dakota Wesleyan on Dec. 13.

The Ron and Sheilah Gates Department of Theatre will present the comedy "The Play that Goes Wrong" Oct. 11-13, 18-20 and 25-27.
