Round Rock Utility Billing hosts sweepstakes to encourage autopay, online payments

The City of Round Rock's Utility Billing office is hosting a sweepstakes through Oct. 31 to encourage customers to try new ways of making their payments.

The sweepstakes offers Round Rock customers the chance to win a $500 Visa gift card by setting up autopay, making three consecutive online payments, or paying their utility bills with cash at select local retail stores. The sweepstakes runs from July 1, 2024, to Oct. 31, 2024. All eligible entries must be completed within this timeframe.

To enter the sweepstakes, customerscan do one out of the three following items:

1. Set up autopay for hassle-free, on-time monthly payments by following the steps below:
   • Log in to the City of Round Rock's Utility Billing Customer Portal
   • Select "AutoPay" within the navigation bar.
   • Click "Add New"
   • Confirm your payment method, and you're set!
2. Make three consecutive online payments through our secure payment portal.
   • The portal includes the ability to get real-time account updates, view payment history, set your communication preferences and more. The online customer portal accepts additional payment methods, such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, American Express, Discover, PayPal, eCheck and Walmart Pay.
3. Customers can also pay their utility bills with cash at local retail stores, including Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, Dollar General, Office Depot and more. Learn more at roundrocktexas.gov/paymybill.
