High Commissioner of Maldives to Sri Lanka meets State Minister Tennakoon

The High Commissioner of Maldives to Sri Lanka, His Excellency Masood Imad met the State Minister of Defence Hon. Premitha Bandara Tennakoon at his office in Colombo today (Jul 16).

Following a warm reception, State Minister Tennakoon had a cordial discussion with Maldivian envoy this afternoon. While extending his compliments, the State Minister also said that he intends to continue working closely with the Maldivian government to enhance bilateral relations and defence cooperation.

Maldivian High Commissioner also expressed gratitude to the State Minister of Defence for his commitment to work towards better cooperation and enhancing existing close ties.

The meeting concluded with the sharing of souvenirs to mark the occasion.
