The finding is the latest CTP milestone reached by STL

ST. LOUIS, MO (October 25, 2024): The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a Finding of No Significant Impact/Record of Decision (FONSI/ROD) for the Consolidated Terminal Program (CTP) improvements identified at the St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL). The FAA began its Environmental Assessment (EA) of the airport's CTP in January of this year.

"We are pleased to have reached this latest milestone in our efforts to secure and build a proposed consolidated terminal at St. Louis Lambert International Airport," says Jerry Beckmann, STL's Deputy Director for Planning and Development. "This action by the Federal Aviation Administration is key as we move forward with our planning."

All the proposed improvements of STL's CTP are subject to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). NEPA requires federal agencies to assess the environmental effects of proposed projects prior to moving forward to the design and construction phases. The FAA is the lead agency in reviewing and approving the CTP's EA. Using the NEPA process, the FAA evaluated the environmental and related social and economic effects of STL's CTP.

The FONSI/ROD and Final EA are available for online viewing at https:/www.flystl.com/civil-rights/public-notices-and-reports with printed copies available at the St. Louis County Public Library's Bridgeton Trails Branch, Oak Bend Branch, Clark Family Branch, Rock Road Branch, and at the Airport Administration Office at 10701 Lambert International Blvd. The FONSI/ROD can also be viewed at the Federal Aviation Administration, Airports Division, 901 Locust St., Kansas City, Missouri 64106.

Moving forward, the City of St. Louis' Board of Public Service released a solicitation seeking qualified firms interested in providing architectural/engineering, design and construction phase support for STL's CTP.
