Asphalt Paving: 100 block of South St. and 400 block of S. Titus Ave.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The ongoing road rehabilitation of South St. and the 400 block of S. Titus Avenue shall begin the ASPHALT PAVEMENT PHASE from S Meadow St. to S. Plain St. on Monday, July 1,2024, tentatively concluding on Wednesday, July 3,2024. Paving is weather dependent, and the dates are subject to change accordingly.

LOCAL IMPACTS: On Monday, July 1st, the city's Contractor, Suit-Kote Corporation, will begin the asphalt paving of South St. and the 400 block of S Titus Ave. During the PAVING OPERATION construction is very constricted and only emergency responders will be allowed. Roadway and driveways will be COMPLETELY INACCESSIBLE until the asphalt course has cooled. Pedestrian traffic via sidewalks will be maintained, but everyone should be cautious and alert for construction activities in the area.

RECOMMENDED DETOURS IN PLACE: None will be posted.

ESTIMATED TIMEFRAME: 3 Days.

SCHEDULED COMPLETION DATE: Wednesday, July 3, 2024.
