MARIPOSA COUNTY - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control next week on State Route-140 (SR-140) for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled as follows:
State Route 140
One-way traffic control from beginning of the passing lane in Catheys Valley to State Route 49 for pavement work beginning Sunday, July 28, through Monday, July 29, from 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and Tuesday July 30, through Friday, August 2, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
One-way traffic control from Whitlock Road to Briceburg for pavement work beginning Sunday, July 28, through Friday, August 2, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
One-way traffic control from Briceburg to South Fork Merced River for pavement work beginning Sunday, July 28, through Friday, August 2, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
One-way traffic control from South Fork Merced River to Yosemite National Park for pavement work beginning Sunday, July 28, through Friday, August 2, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
One-way traffic control from Hummingbird Lane to Mount Bullion Cutoff for utility work on Thursday, August 1, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
