Iowa Extends Disaster Proclamations Following Severe Storms

On July 22, 2024, Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds issued a Proclamation of Disaster Emergency No. 2024-37to extend the three previously issued proclamations following severe storms that occurred in certain counties starting on June 21, 2024.

With the extension of the proclamations, the relief that is described in Bulletin 24-03will also be extended until the end of the proclamation on August 21, 2024. The bulletin outlines the relief that insurers are requested to provide during disaster proclamations for impacted insureds in the specified counties.
