For example, by deactivating the "instant-on" feature on guest room televisions, the Hotel has reduced its overall emissions by 879,914 metric tons annually. Additionally, replacing incandescent bulbs with low-power fluorescent lamps has resulted in annual savings of CAD 4,599.

In 2023, Four Seasons Hotel Montreal collected 29,600 kilograms (about 65,256.75 pounds) of cardboard and 62,700 kilograms (about 138,229.67 pounds) of compost, equivalent to the combined weight of 76 cars. The Hotel also introduced an innovative kitchen oil and grease recovery system, recycling 50,300 litres (about 13,287.85 gallons) in just six months - enough water savings to meet the needs of 3,000 people for a week. The addition of a dedicated dishwasher position for sorting and implementing new recovery practices further embodies the Hotel's proactive approach to waste reduction.
