Arrest in hookah lounge murder investigation

One juvenile suspect arrested in hookah lounge murder investigation

Lewisville Police Department has arrested one juvenile suspect in connection with the deadly shooting at the Luxor Hookah Lounge on Friday, March 29.

The 16-year-old suspect was taken into custody on Tuesday, April 2, at the Xquisite Smoke Shop, 1348 W. Main Street. He is charged with one count of murder. Because the suspect is a juvenile, his name and mugshot will not be released. The suspect is now being held at the Denton County Juvenile Detention Center.

At approximately 11:44 p.m. on Friday, March 29, a call came into 9-1-1 about a shooting at the Luxor Hookah Lounge, located in the 1600 block of South SH-121 Business. A fight between multiple people had broken out, and during the fight, the suspect began shooting. Jayden Tramaine Anderson, 19, was killed, and a second man received non-life-threatening injuries.
