Have a Safe and Happy Fourth of July
Town President Larry Dominick, Clerk Maria Punzo-Arias, Supervisor Joe Virruso, Assessor Emilio Cundari, Collector Fran Reitz, Trustees Victor Garcia, Bob Porod, John Cava and Blanca Vargas, and all of the town's department heads and employees with you the happiest and safest 4th of July holiday.
Fireworks are illegal
Be safe. Don't injure yourself, your family or your children by using illegal fireworks this Fourth of July holiday. If it goes up in the air or it explodes, it is illegal and dangerous. You could face a $500 fine under the Town's ordinance for the use of illegal fireworks.
Town Hall will be closed Thursday & Friday
Please remember, that the Town of Cicero administration is closed Thursday, July 4 and Friday July 5.
Collector Fran Reitz adds:
Vehicle sticker purchases are available ONLINE through the 4th of July holiday through the Town's website, without incurring a late fee. Visit www.thetownofcicero.com click the link "Online Payments."
Ticketing for Street Maintenance is cancelled for Thursday and Friday and additional info will be posted on Facebook.
Senior Services Director Ran Chlada adds:
The holiday will not disrupt any services for our Seniors and that all Senior Services will be available this holiday weekend as they always are.
Garbage Collection:
If your garbage pickup day is Thursday, it will be done on Friday; if your garbage pickup day is Friday, it will be done on Saturday.
