DEBATE RECAP: Brandon Williams Outlines Dangerous Agenda Harming Central New York and Mohawk Valley Families

John Mannion: "If it's a 'monumental victory' to take away a woman's right to choose, then I don't believe you understand where women are."

After tonight's first debate in New York's 22nd Congressional District, it remains clear that MAGA extremist Brandon Williams - who has repeatedly been listed as one of the most vulnerable House Republicans in the country - is pushing a dangerous agenda that's putting Central New York and Mohawk Valley families in harm's way.

Tonight, Williams doubled down on his far-right plans to:

• Again support the disastrous overturning of Roe v. Wade and refuse to support protections for women forced to cross state lines to receive reproductive health care.

• Back a national abortion ban without exceptions, IVF, and forms of contraceptives.

• Slash Social Security and Medicare.

• Defund public schools by diverting funds to private schools.

• Defund local law enforcement.

• Refuse to support critical legislation that is creating good-paying jobs, after he again called the CHIPS and Science Act that attracted Micron to NY-22 "corporate welfare."

Meanwhile, NY-22 Democratic nominee John Mannion outlined his comprehensive plans to pass a national reproductive freedom bill to restore Roe v. Wade protections, secure the border, lower costs, and protect Social Security and Medicare once in Congress.
